Öland is a small island holding over 400 windmills. The biggest iron-age ring for it is on the island. Eketorp has been partially reconstructed as a museum to schowcase the medieval village. At the northern and southern tips they have very prominent lighthouses. There is a 6000m bridge connecting Öland to Kalmar.
